Hi, I’m Deena, founder of Deena Cosmetics, Medical Esthetician, Master Permanent Makeup Artist, and Skin Rejuvenation Specialist. For over 20 years, I’ve been passionate about helping clients restore their confidence through advanced skin rejuvenation treatments and natural-looking permanent makeup.

Throughout my career, I’ve earned more than 50 advanced certifications and have been recognized as the area’s #1 Permanent Makeup Studio. I’m also certified by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM), and proudly serve on the advisory board for Southwestern Community College’s Esthetics Program.

What I love most is helping people feel like the best version of themselves. Whether restoring healthier, more youthful-looking skin or enhancing natural features with permanent makeup, my goal is always the same: to provide honest guidance, personalized care, and beautiful, natural-looking results that leave every client feeling confident, refreshed, and excited to look in the mirror.

FAQ’s

What Is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is a cosmetic procedure that gently implants pigment into the upper layers of the skin to enhance your natural features. It can be used to create fuller-looking brows, define the eyes, enhance lip color, camouflage scars, and improve the look of the scalp with natural-looking, long-lasting results.

Is Permanent Makeup Safe?

Yes. When performed by a trained and certified professional, Permanent Makeup is a safe procedure. At Deena Cosmetics, we follow strict sanitation and safety protocols while using high-quality pigments and equipment to ensure every treatment is performed with your health, comfort, and results in mind.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Makeup is ideal for anyone looking to simplify their daily routine, enhance their natural features, or restore areas affected by hair loss, aging, or previous procedures. A consultation allows us to determine the best treatment based on your goals and medical history.

Are There Any Contraindications for Permanent Makeup?

Certain medical conditions, medications, or skin concerns may require postponing or avoiding treatment. During your consultation, we’ll review your health history to ensure Permanent Makeup is a safe and appropriate option for you.

What Is the Difference Between Permanent Makeup and Traditional Tattooing?

Although both procedures implant pigment into the skin, Permanent Makeup uses specialized techniques, pigments, and equipment designed specifically for cosmetic enhancements. The results are softer, more natural-looking, and intended to complement your facial features rather than create traditional body art.

I Have Previous Permanent Makeup. Can It Be Corrected?

Yes. We frequently work with clients who have had previous Permanent Makeup performed elsewhere. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate the existing work to determine whether correction, color adjustment, lightening, or a complete refresh is the best approach for achieving your desired results.

How Long Does Permanent Makeup Last?

Results vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the treated area. Most clients enjoy their results for several years, with periodic touch-ups recommended to keep the color fresh and vibrant.

Do I Need a Consultation Before My Appointment?

Some services benefit from a consultation before treatment, especially corrective work or advanced procedures. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, answer your questions, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What’s the Difference Between Nano Brows and Microblading?

While Nano Brows and microblading are both designed to create the appearance of natural eyebrow hair, the techniques and tools used are different.

Nano Brows are a form of cosmetic tattooing performed with a machine and an ultra-fine needle that carefully implants pigment into the skin to create precise, hair-like strokes. This technique allows the artist to work with a high level of control and can create soft, natural-looking results.

Microblading, on the other hand, is a manual technique that uses a small blade made up of multiple fine needles to create hair-like strokes in the skin and deposit pigment. Because the techniques interact with the skin differently, healing, pigment retention, and suitability can vary from person to person.

At Deena Cosmetics, we specialize in Nano Brows and cosmetic tattooing techniques. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your skin, existing brow hair, and desired results to determine the best approach for you.
